Hello everyone, this feels like the longest we’ve ever waited for a veto meeting. It was rinse and repeat all weekend. Morgan and Vince continued to gaslight each other by making bullshit arguments, because they can’t tell each other the truth. Morgan can’t say ‘there’s no good reason for you to put Lauren on the block. If we’re keeping her anyway.’ Vince can’t say ‘I don’t want to put her up because she’s my real final 2.’

There’s a few side stories happening but this Morgan and Vince saga has been wild! The most dramatic soap opera scenes have nothing on these two. We’ve been in a loop since Vince won the hoh. Morgan marathon talks to Vince until he agrees to put Lauren on the block. Vince talks to Lauren and she cries and begs until he reverses the decision. This just goes round and round with no ending. Well, actually that’s not true. There will at least be an ending today at the veto meeting.

I’m gonna backtrack a bit since I haven’t talk to y’all since Friday. After Vince won the hoh, he put Keanu, Kelley and Ava on the block. Keanu was upset over it since he thinks they have a F2. Of course it’s not real but Keanu doesn’t know how to fake it either. (He did the same thing with Rylie) Keanu told Vince they should target Lauren this week. He said after that, they can get Morgan out next. It was similar to when he told Rylie they’d need to talk about getting rid of Katherine soon. Keanu only plays the game by who he can beat and comps. He also thinks he knows everything about everyones game and he never has, not since the beginning of the season. Why would Vince want to get rid of two people who are protecting him and could win comps to help protect him?

Ava expected it and did nothing to try to stay off the block. After some bad choices, (some made by her) she may be realizing she can’t win this game. She’s gone all in campaigning for AFP. Before the nominations, she talked to herself and said “if this (meaning her outfit) doesn’t get me AFP, I don’t know what the fuck will.” (I knew BB had turned into The Challenge. Has it also become Project Runway?)

I can’t even remember if Kelley talked to Vnce before the noms. If she did, it was very little and she also expected to go on the block. These were his 3 noms after some marathon talking sessions between Vince and Morgan. After wearing him down, Vince had agreed to put Lauren on the block.

Her 2 main arguments were Lauren was the only one left who hadn’t been nommed and Vince needed to prove he would choose Morgan over Lauren. I enjoyed some of these back-and-forth talks because they had an outdoor lockdown and everyone could see everyone else talking.

Vince talked to Lauren and she talked him out of it.

Vince talked to Morgan and she convinced him again to do it.

Vince spoke to Lauren again, and once again, she talked him out of it.

Morgan won the veto and it sounded like the see saw comp where you have to pile things on one end and balance it. Everyone played in the comp except Ashley. One of the things being talked about in the house (for a while) is that Ashley hasn’t won anything. She’s reminded them she won the first veto of the season. She’s also pointed out, she’s only played in 3 of the 10 veto comps. (I think thats fair to point out)

Morgan’s veto win created another round of marathon talks because she wants to use it. There’s no point in recapping every time Morgan or Lauren talked to Vince. It went back and forth multiple times for 2 days. Vince has really wanted Morgan to hang out with him in the hoh room and sleep over. Part of me thinks he agrees to put Lauren on the block every night so Morgan will stay in the room.

She’s insisted on them sleeping head to foot ever since they got the Zings. Actually, the first night she slept on the day bed. The second night, the BB voice told her she couldn’t sleep there and had to get in a bed. (I think production’s gettin’ a bit messy) After letting her sleep there the night before, it was obvious they wanted her to get into the bed. Vince, on the other hand, doesn’t care and keeps telling her not to worry about it. Morgan’s also gone to mostly giving him side hugs and he doesn’t like that either.

He started having to get his hugs from Lauren.

I’ve become more convinced Morgan’s trying to manipulate Vince for game reasons. I think Vince is trying to manipulate Morgan for personal reasons. Don’t misunderstand me, she’s half cracked and crazy and she’s VERY jealous. I just don’t think she’s jealous because she views Vince in a romantic way. Vince even tried to cuddle with her lower legs and feet Saturday night. Perhaps in an attempt to get him to not, she warned him her legs were prickly from not shaving. Haha

Ashley tried to tell Morgan not to use the veto. She doesn’t trust that Vince will put up Lauren and knows she could go up instead. Ashley’s already pivoted away from Morgan a little bit. After Morgan winning 3 vetoes in a row, she doesn’t see how she could go to the end with her and have a shot at winning. She’d also have the obstacle of needing Vince to be taken out or she wouldn’t even have the option.

After losing both Rachel and Will, she’d started working on Keanu. Say what you want about Ashley floating, but she at least knows when to jump off a sinking ship. She had Keanu convinced to pick her to play in veto and said she’d use it on him. He did get hg’s choice but chose Morgan instead. He’s also been talking to Morgan about working together, but both of them are lying. He just wanted to pick the person with the best odds of winning the comp. That’s fair but it’s not what he told Ashley. She’s quickly seeing the difficulties Rachel had trying to work with Keanu.

There’s been two plans this week. If Morgan could get Lauren on the block, Keanu, Ashley and Morgan want to evict her. (They’ve told Vince they won’t) If that doesn’t happen, the plan is to evict Kelley. Ashley camera talked and said she didn’t think this was a good move for her personally. She doesn’t know how she could make it happen but she’s realizing Kelley is who she should go with to the final 2. ( She’s correct on both, I think it’s a good choice and I also don’t see a path for it to happen)

Ashley had a busy weekend. She made a final 2 with Ava and sort of made them with both Keanu and Morgan. (for whatever they’re worth) I’ve said this for a while, but she sees the game better than anyone left in the house. She knows Vince has a final f2 with both Lauren and Morgan. She believes Lauren, Ava and Kelley have a F3. (They do) I think her only blind spot is Ava. Ashley thinks she’s done enough work to get Ava to choose her over Lauren and I don’t believe that’s true.

Both Ava and Kelley took their turns talking to Vince yesterday. They put in more work trying to keep Lauren off the block than they did trying to keep themselves off it. Vince plays the victim with both of them and Lauren too. He tries to make it sound like Morgan has taken over his hoh. He’s even said it’s been “hijacked.”

Lauren tried unsuccessfully to get Vince to make a final 4 with them plus Ava and Kelley. After that didn’t work, she said Ava and Kelley wouldn’t respect his game if he put her up. She basically told him he’d lose all three of their jury votes. It’s not that effective because Morgan has him convinced he’ll lose all the Judges votes if he doesn’t put up Lauren.

Vince thinks he’s in a ‘damned if he does and damded if he doesn’t situation. Maybe, maybe not. (I think jury votes are usually determined more by who you’re sitting beside) Vince hurts himself more by talking too much than which choice he makes. His game would be so much easier if he would’ve just told Morgan and Keanu ‘I’m not putting up Lauren, it’s not good for my game, so let’s move on.’ Sure, they’d be annoyed but they’d have to get over it. He’s spent the entire game letting everyone think he’s going to do what they want, only to have to apologize later for not doing it.

Not only that, all the talking and agreeing he’s done has already hurt him. Even if he doesn’t put up Lauren today, she knows how hard she’s had to work to keep him from doing it. The damage is already done at this point. (Well maybe for most seasons. Lauren and Morgan may actually stay loyal to him regardless) Even if they stick with him, he’s damaged his game with everyone else.

By not making a decision and sticking to it, his hoh is being seen as Morgan or Lauren running it anyway. It’s just a matter of which of these two women was in charge of it. Obviously, it was bad for Vince’s game to put Lauren up. If he doesn’t do it, it still won’t be seen as his own decision at this point. It will look like he was manipulated by Lauren crying and/or Ava and Kelley being mad.

Lauren made a few attempts to invade the hoh room but it wasn’t enough. I can’t imagine knowing someone (Morgan) is up there for hours and hours trying to get you on the block and just being ok with it. Last night, she even volunteered to leave so Morgan and Vince could talk about putting her on the block some more. I know she tried to target Morgan last week but this is a new week. If I were Lauren, I’d have gone to Morgan directly, since she holds the veto. She’ll chit chat with Morgan about moving to New York but nothing about the game. Why in the hell wouldn’t you go to Morgan and give her reasons not to use the veto? The thanks Vince says to keep them apart might not work if they actually talked to each other.

Lauren got all kinds of credit online this weekend over staying stubborn and never giving in to Vince wanting to put her up. She gave him good reasoning, she broke out the tears and she held her own in their conversations. I’ll give her that, but think about what she accomplished. She temporarily convinced her final 2 not to put her on the block. (Wow, big accomplishment!) I’ll at least say if Lauren had played the entire game the way she’s had conversations with Vince this weekend, she’d be the front runner to win. She’d have her comp wins plus some respect in the game.

Every night, Vince has agreed to put Lauren on the block by the end of his conversations with Morgan. The next day, he’s changed his mind again. Last night he agreed to put her on the block and today, I expect him to change his mind again after he talks to Lauren…again. I wouldn’t bet the bank on it but who knows?

I don’t know if Vince keeps agreeing to it because Morgan legitimately wears him down. I also don’t know if it’s because he simply doesn’t want Morgan to be mad at him and wants him to hang out in the hoh room all the time. What I do know, I watched some of the most dramatic conversations I think i’ve ever seen on the live feeds. The best soap opera couldn’t write some of the lines these two delivered to each other.

Not gonna lie, most of it was fascinating to watch. I’m not even talking about the conversations. I’m talking about my reactions to them. There would be a couple hour span, where I would completely agree with Vince and start to take pity on him. Shortly after that, I’d have a period of time where I was team Morgan. It’s not because she was making any sense. It was because of her dedication to the bit. A couple of hours later, I’d hate them both for a while because they were giving me a headache. If you don’t watch the feeds, I really can’t put it into words. It was like getting overly invested in some telenovela that you couldn’t turn off.

A few side plots:

Kelley’s been wondering if the fans are on her side or not because of her “going after Rachel.” I think Kelley’s mistaken shit talking Rachel behind her back for targeting her in the game. Kelley’s never won an hoh, never had power or influence and Rachel was never on the block. I’m not sure how she targeted her. Talking about Rachel continues to be her favorite pastime. Yesterday, she pointed out to Ava that Ava hasn’t had any panic attacks since Rachel left the house. Ava also agreed with her.

As I said earlier, Ava continues to talk more and more about AFP. I don’t blame her for hoping to win it, especially with the block buster continuing and the stupid mastermind stuff. If she feels like she’ll have to comp her way to the end, she knows she won’t. At least AFP money would be something. She just doesn’t realize she’s going about it the WRONG way. I only mention it because I think it’s where some of her recent venom for Rachel was coming from. She feels like Rachel is her biggest competition for it. She said “I was banking on AFP and that bitch Rachel stole it from me.”

Ashley helped propel this theory by talking about how many fans Rachel has and saying “and they’re still alive.” Haha Ashley really thinks the people who were around for Rachel’s first two seasons have one foot in the nursing home or the grave. (To be fair, when I was her age, I thought people my age were really old too, haha)

Jimmy is doing cameos as Vince. Haha

I know some of you don’t, but I like Ashley. She’s played the game harder this season than she gets credit for and I can’t say that for a lot of them. She’s never had any power or control, she had Mickey damaging her game every week, and she lacks a lot of social and self awareness. Those things can make it appear as if she hasn’t done anything. She talks too much and often at the worst times. I still think if she won an hoh, she’d know what to do with it and I can’t say that about most of them either.

Vince, confirming to the cameras, his real plan is to take Lauren to F2:

With no good players to root for, I’ve just been rooting for whoever is entertaining me at the moment. This weekend it happened to be Ashley. I enjoyed her telling Ava that Rachel may win AFP. (Since the casual viewers control the vote, I actually think it’s going to be Keanu and none of them will see that coming) Kelley’s talked a lot recently about coming back for an all star season. She’s convinced she’s going to be asked back because, you know, she’s amazing and all. Ashley shut that down too. No, comments like this are NOT good for Ashley’s game but they’re very good for my entertainment. Ava and Kelley both think this season is “iconic.” Once again, Ashley said ummmm, no it’s not. (Like her or not, Ashley is the voice of the people this year and THAT’S why I enjoy her in the house)

Keanu told Kelley he’d throw the block buster to her as long as she voted for him to stay. I have no idea if this is the truth. He also confirmed with Vince that if Lauren goes up and it’s a tie between keanu and Lauren, Vince will keep Keanu. Later, Ashley told Keanu that Vince wouldn’t break a tie in his favor against Lauren. Keanu said Vince would lose his jury vote if he didn’t.

After Ashley couldn’t convince Morgan using the veto was a bad idea, she talked Vince too. She’s promised to vote out Keanu or Kelley, whichever one he wants. She’s also promised to vote to keep Lauren. Ashley also tried telling Morgan they shouldn’t bring up wanting to vote out Lauren until after Vince put her on the block. Morgan didn’t exactly listen to this advice either. Morgan agrees to keep Lauren half the time she’s talking to Vince but she gives him reasons why she should vote her out the other half.

Production gave Vince almost the entire day before he had to make his nominations Friday. I assumed they liked the footage they were getting from both Lauren and Morgan. I don’t know if they’ll do the same thing today so they can get more of it before the veto meeting. I had my entertainment and I’m finally over it so I’m hoping they are too. I don’t care what Vince said last night, I still don’t see him putting up Lauren. He might and it should be entertaining if he does it. I think it’s going to be more entertaining if he doesn’t because Morgan will be PISSED.

Rachel telling Lauren she shouldn’t listen to what and unemployed man in his thirties has to say:

I’m not even talking about what’s better for whose game at this point because honestly, who gives a shit? They’re all such bad players, let’s just hope for maximum drama at this point. The absolute most entertaining thing that could happen would be Morgan using the veto to force Vince’s hand and him putting up Ashley instead of Lauren. That’s kind of what I’m hoping will happen.

Have a great Monday!
