Big Brother 27-Recap for Tuesday, August 26th
There wasn’t alot going on yesterday. It was mostly shit talking and napping but here’s my recap of the day.
For a quick review, Vince put Katherine otb after Mickey used the veto on herself. This came after a last minute convo between Vince and Rachel about Rachel ratting Vince out to Keanu. With a small assist from Will and a big one from Morgan, Rachel convinced him not to put her up. Will put in more work this week than I’ve seen him do before and I don’t think he’s getting enough credit for it.
Katherine, Lauren and Kelley were angry and Keanu was PISSED. Keanu yelled at Vince, mixed with some sort of weird motivational speech and Vince went into Meryl Streep mode and sat in the floor and cried. (These people are hilariously nuts!) Keanu’s rant had ‘I just can’t quit you’ vibes. Even though Vince has repeatedly burned Keanu multiple times, Keanu wasn’t giving up on him. (Haha)
Katherine took a different route because she blames Rachel for her nomination more than Vince. She was also angry she only got to speak to Vince for a couple of minutes before the ceremony when Rachel spoke to him for over 20. (These players don’t understand it’s all the days and weeks leading up to the veto ceremony that count the most. That’s when she should’ve put time in with ALL these people)
Vince hung out in the hoh room with Morgan for most of Monday and didn’t talk to Lauren until very late in the evening. (He did talk to Morgan about feeling guilty over Laurens game being in the toilet)
Side note:
Which player was it that said “trlet” instead of “toilet” if anyone remembers? (The strangest things keep me up at night and this is the most recent) I feel like it was Cameron from BB25 or maybe Frenchie from BB23. Anyway, help a girl get some sleep if anyone knows and can help me remember!
Morgan explained that Lauren’s game was trash because she didn’t talk to anyone besides Vince and Katherine. (True) She said he didn’t have anything to feel guilty about. (That one may not be true, haha) Lauren told Vince it sucked because Katherine and Kelley were “guaranteed votes for her in jury.”
After going on the block, Katherine and Lauren continued to pout quietly together. Ava’s also told them if both she and Katherine stay, she’d like the three of them to form an alliance.
Yesterday, Rachel made a small push to target Katherine over Kelley this week. She didn’t get very far as most of her alliance said Kelley had to go. Rachel thinks separating Lauren and Katherine may be more beneficial than taking out Kelley. (She may be right but I’d still get rid of Kelley)
Keanu and Rachel finally had it out again. She spelled out why she was upset and how he got busted for trying to put her on the block. Although I don’t think it was smart, she ended up telling Keanu once again that Vince told her Keanu did it. Keanu kept denying he’d ever tried to get her otb. Keanu continued to blame Morgan because he didn’t believe Vince would do that to him. (This man lives in a constant state of confusion) If you remember, Vince also admitted he’s the one who told Rachel.
Rachel said she couldn’t trust him and he was making dumb decisions. After some back and forth, Rachel left and Keanu talked to himself. He thinks she’ll forgive him and thinks once jury starts, Rachel will be a bigger target than him anyway.
The fallout from Wine-gate and Hug-gate raged on with Kelley. After tells and retells over what happened the other night, Kelley’s story keeps getting more exaggerated. We’ve gone from Rachel saying “I don’t want a hug” to Rachel saying “no one wants you over here.” She’s taken it a step further and now saying production played a video of it to her in the DR. She said she wanted to make sure she was remembering it correctly. (There’s no way in hell this happened!)

Kelley said everyone left in the house has a chance of going far except Will. She said the older person never make it far into the game. (BB10 Jerry says hi)
Kelley told Ava “if I survive this week, I’ll win the game.”
Kelley announced her cleaning strike was over and said her strategy worked. (???)
Kelley told Lauren and Katherine that both Morgan and Mickey said they were keeping Kelley. After being questioned about it a little more, Kelley admitted she’d just made it up.
Kelley told Keanu there’s a way for both she and Katherine to stay. She said “if they can flip the house, we can flip the house.”
Kelley is telling people she’s heard Rachel doesn’t want her in jury because she’d be a bitter juror and doeant underatand the game.(True) Kelley follows this up by saying she’d never vote for Rachel, no matter what. (Didn’t this only prove Rachel is correct?)
Kelley also said “Rachel is afraid of me.”
Katherine finally stopped moping and started talking to people. (Do you think Lauren finally would too if someone nominated her? Maybe that’s what it’s going to take) She got a pep talk from Mickey (who Katherine wants to put otb) and even had a chat with Rachel. Rachel sympathized with Katherine over how she feels. She related it back to BB13 and Brendon leaving twice. After first, making sure Katherine hadn’t seen that season, she explained how Brendon was taken out “twice by the same girl.” She went on to say, she and “that girl” worked together in the game after Brendon left. (Rachel and Danielle did NOT work together but I see the seed Rachel’s trying to plant)
Katherine thinks the viewers will hate Rachel for breaking up a showmance. It’s not true but if she would have stopped there, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. Katherine, along with Kelley, have also said her husband and daughter will be ashamed of her. Kelley said she fells sorry for Rachel’s daughter and that Rachel isn’t a good role model for her. (Too far) Brendon chimed in on that one:
Brendon, an actual adult, is just having a bit of fun with it. Katherine and Kelley, who aren’t behaving like adults, just keep the hate faucet flowing. (Lauren’s said things too but she sarcastically calls Rachel a princess and her snark is tamer) Katherine’s said she’s going to start a hate page about Rachel when she leaves. She said she’d say a whole bunch of nasty things about Rachel on it and something to do with saying Rachel has a hairy neck. (Not gonna lie, that one made me laugh. It’s stupid and something someone 12 might do) She’s also said she isn’t worried about some 40 year old pre-menopausal woman. (Isn’t Katherine the self proclaimed “raging feminist”) I get it, she’s mad and immature but come on girl, get it together! (She needs to get all this out of her system and get to work)
She also took it a bit further and this one didn’t make me laugh. I feel horrible for Katherine losing her mom so recently, as anyone would. Katherine said she hates Rachel because Rachel knows she lost her mom less than a year ago and Rylie was her only support system in the house to help her with her grief. Katherine is so young to have lost her mother but the people in the game shouldn’t have to keep Rylie because of it. I don’t mean to spund insensitive but everyone’s there to play a game and Rachel (or any other hg) isn’t responsible for Katherine’s grief.
Vince and Morgan talked more game in the hoh room because I don’t think they know how to stop. (For some hg’s, I think it’s hard to turn it off) Morgan broke out the M&M’s again and got to work. (Yes, she keeps flushing them down the toilet when she’s done with them)

Back to the M&M’s, there’s no way I could be that close to candy while I was a have not. If I didn’t break down and eat it on purpose, I think I’d do it accidentally!
Will and Ashley joined and they had a convo about keeping Kelley. Neither Will nor Ashley want to keep her but they’re entertaining Morgan for the moment. Vince and Morgan have spent quite a bit of time in the hoh room without the feeds being on them. I don’t know if this ‘keep Kelley’ thing is stemming from Morgan or Vince.
With Rachel kicking around the idea too, it could gain some momentum but I doubt it. Mickey thinks she has Katherine on her side (she doesn”t) so she’ll want to keep her and Ava also plans to keep Katherine over Kelley. Later, Vince told Lauren he hopes the vote isn’t a tie and doesn”t know what he would do. (Keep in mind, Vince has told both groups if there’s a tie, he’ll break it the way they each want. haha)
Rachel gave Jimmy’s hoodie back to Keanu. (The one she’d stolen back from him the night before) Ashley and Mickey made fun of her over it.
Will, Mickey and Ashley talked about Rachel and Morgan cooking. They said they liked Morgans salads but that was about it. They said Rachel was a good cook but she didn’t season things enough. (Wasn’t Rachel just on Worst Cooks in America or whatever its called?) Maybe she learned a few things.
Anyway, it was all good natured. This wasn’t Mickey from the past two weeks. After going on the block two weeks in a row, maybe she’s finally been humbled a little bit?
Rachel and Keanu had another arguement around 3 am. Ava accidentally walked in on it and later told Morgan and Vince about it too. They were all laughing about it.
After another round of Rachel trying to explain to Keanu why she doesn’t trust him, he finally (sort of) admitted he did try to get her put on the block this week. He tried to blame it on being jealous of how close Rachel is to Ashley. He also said Rachel keeps trying to get rid of the people he’s trying to work with in the game. Rachel’s crazy if she ever trusts Keanu again but at least for now, he hasn’t ran these conversations back to Vince. He even told Kelley he isn’t sharing any info with Vince anymore. (We’ll see)
