Big Brother 26 – This Is The End! 10/13
Well folks, we made it
In just 2.5 hours from when I type this, Big Brother 26 will be over. We will have a winner (Chelsie —- or MJ, but probably Chelsie) and an AFP (Tucker).
It’s been quite a season. Waking up one morning early in the season hearing how Angela went crazy and freaked out on the house – but especially Matt. Then hearing Angela and Lisa going toe to toe and really the house basically bullying Lisa (not too extreme. We’ve seen a LOT worse, but she was treated fairly poorly). The hilariousness of Quinn telling Angela about his power and then Angela trying to drop it to people like Tucker when she could.
Damn, early BB26 was really all Angela. She went in hot and managed to stay until jury. Quite impressive.
Then you had Tucker winning the veto while on the block and saving Angela – a move that could have gone down in BB history as one of the worst moves of all time. Yet it ended up brilliant because it forced out MJ’s power and Tucker won the AI arena to remain in the house. Seriously, Tucker and Angela were gifts from the BB gods and hopefully we’re not cursed from having one booted before the jury because he really should have stuck around longer.
You had Leah and her army of simps who she actually ended up developing a crush on one of them (allegedly. We’ll see how that goes once real world hits). One of them acting like he was the next Dan Gheesling, btw lol
We watched MJ go from being in a flirtmance she tried to pretend was nothing until calling it a full blown showmance by the end of the season just for dramatic purposes (I guess it’s better to say you survived a showmance even though you were never in one). Speaking of, MJ also went from playing alone and was actually a high-level target and ended up on the block as the person likely to go home TWICE on Thursday night but saved herself both times in the AI Arena. Then she went on a comp winning spree and has essentially been safe since Week 8. From week 8 on it went:
- POV win
- Leah HoH, never a target
- MJ hoh and pov
- Chelsie HoH, never a target
- MJ hoh and pov
- MJ pov
- MJ round 2 winner
Now that is a second half turnaround if I’ve ever seen one.
In addition, we had one of the worst performances on the endurance wall possibly in Big Brother history, and the first – and likely only time – OTEV has gone 1 round.
Of course, we can’t talk about BB26 and not mention Chelsie’s pure domination when she was never a first round nom, and never a nom able to receive votes (the one time she was nominated was a veto replacement, but she won AI so she was safe). She kept close ties with T’Kor on one side of the house, kept Cam close, remained in the middle of alliances and let people like Cedric be pegged off while she remained low.
Then, similar to MJ, she not only went on a second-half comp winning streak, but absolutely controlled the entire direction of the house in the process. She had the stronger trio, yet Leah went after the T’Kor crew during her HoH reign. She convinced MJ to get rid of Leah and also convinced her to take Cam to the final 3.
It’s been an up and down season, but overall it was another fun one to cover and thanks again to everyone who has visited daily and those who helped run the site and social media! (Summer, Hillary, Elaine, and Mel)
Let’s get to final updates!
Says she loves them ans she hopes she has made them proud. She says she is going to follow her own Proverbs 24:7 and “have some faith. I can’t see it, but I’m gonna believe it.”
I wonder if his back is hurt or something? He just stands there a lot and leans all the way over.
Chelsie and Makensy talk about M’s testimony about being lost in where her life was going. C says people will listen to her story.
C says it was hard to see him so tore up.
She says she will never do another season because she is afraid they will put Angela on it too. She would see A and turn around and walk out.
Makensy was the last one to lay down. She is still in the petal room alone. She looked at her family pics and then told BB, “Ok, mind your own business…I am about to cry.”
Looks like we don’t have feeds today.
And that they used him as the Ainsley mission communicator!
BUT I hope the jury talks about how she was manipulative at times…and a mean girl for sure!
A said Chelsie would shout at her and then come back and apologize. Taylor says looking in a mirror? Ha!
Ooooppss.
Chelsie says yes and no. She said she knew a lot but knew when to say or didn’t say. So, she wasn’t the one to start lies and this is her reaction lol
MJ says getting Leah out was her best move. Even though it was literally Chelsie’s influence
Chelsie agrees and says she did two, convince MJ to use the veto to get Quinn out and also convinced MJ to put up one of her greatest allies. Both taking credit for Leah’s eviction lol
MJ says she had no alliances but she was loyal to Chelsie.
Chelsie says she didn’t want to fully rely on comps so she’s still in that seat if she didn’t win
MJ says she won comps.
Again, she calls herself a diamond
She is stumbling through her speech but plays up the comp beast part
Her faces during Chelsie’s speech were hilarious!
Ummm, that’s BECAUSE your social game was weak.
But those were all guesses
Matt says he wants to thank Angela. He was scared coming out of the house but because of that blowup, he had a TON of support and it’s been fantastic. But he still meant what he said. He loves her and wants to bury the hatchet.
He says ‘I’ve been watching the live feeds and you’ve been curious if I was going to give you a hug at the finale’
Angela says ‘Not really!’
But he asks for a hug anyway and Julie tells them to hug it out.
