Big Brother 26 – Friday Feed Updates 10/4

Good afternoon, everyone!
It’s Friday in the Big Brother house and you know what that means?? Noms today! And literally first thing today as around midnight BBT, they already knocked out noms which was surprising. And even more surprising is they are apparently doing veto comp today.
Quick summary – Chelsie nominated MJ and Cam
Wow, why??? This is pretty simple. They are her allies and both were fine with it knowing noms are virtually irrelevant so they let her have an easy week. Not that it would have been hard to nominate Rubina, but they’re giving her a break.
I try to explain this week every season, but I can never properly explain it because there is always that incredibly small chance the rare situation happens and makes me look stupid. But basically, this week is all about the veto. Whoever wins the veto holds all the power * So noms are irrelevant because the veto winner really decides on the final 3.
* There is only one exception where the veto winner doesn’t decide final 3 and that’s if the HoH wins and the person they save from the block lies to the HoH and flips. An example would be Chelsie winning the veto and cutting a deal with Rubina to keep noms the same so long as she votes out MJ. Rubina agrees and remains off the block but votes out Cam instead. But when the HoH wins the veto, they’re usually in agreement with the person they save on who to evict. Not always, but usually.
So that’s the one exception to veto holder NOT holding all the power this week and it’s ironically only if the HoH is the veto holder.
The big question is – why today? They usually only rush this if they are squeezing in two evictions before Thursday, but they’re not. That is unless they decide to shoot Thursday early and it’s not actually a live event when it airs. This would likely mean feeds would be down for quite some time though all for some unknown reason.
My theory is that even production is checked out of this season so they’re rushing the week so they can take the weekend off lol. Probably not the case considering they’ll have weekends off in just two weeks, but it sounds the best for now.
The more I think about it, the more realistic reason is they are going to show noms AND veto on Sunday’s episode so they can take their time on Thursday. And after realizing this, I re-watched the episode and Julie confirmed Sunday would show the veto so I guess I should have just paid more attention last night.
So veto will happen today. I don’t think they need to rush the meeting as that’s quick and they can air that on Thursday
M says it is so much easier to clean up after 4 people. R says, “Stupid little table.”
She set up her family’s pictures in the little coffee table.
