Big Brother 26 – Thursday News and Notes 10/10

Happy finale eviction day, everyone!
Well, I mean technically there is one more eviction to go on Sunday, but this is the last Thursday night live eviction of the season!
If you don’t know by now, MJ won the veto (shocker) and she will save herself which will automatically make her the sole vote to evict this week. So, she solely gets to choose who she wants to sit in the final 3 with along herself and Chelsie.
Will it be Cam? Will it be Rubina?
This is a surprisingly tough decision for her considering what is at stake. Here is a summary for both from the eyes of MJ:

Cam: He will almost certainly take Chelsie to the final 2 if he wins. However, the fact that he can possibly win one of the first two rounds makes him an appealing choice. I understand that sounds contradictory as you probably don’t want someone who can win who isn’t going to take you. BUT, Chelsie has proven she has a tremendous strength for mental style games which the final round is.
This means that if MJ is facing off against Chelsie in the final round, there is like an 85% chance that Chelsie will win and probably just take Cam and win it all.
So, Cam is just good enough to have a chance to win one of the first two rounds, but not good enough where he can easily dominate the final round. However, then comes the risk that Cam ends up winning one of the first two comps and Chelsie wins the second which means MJ would be at the mercy of both.

Rubina: This choice is almost completely opposite of Cam. She has virtually zero chance of winning either of the first two rounds which makes this pick a near guarantee that MJ at the very least sits in the final 2 round. However, it also makes it an almost guarantee that she faces off against Chelsie who as I pointed out above has a very strong chance to win that round.

Think of it this way – it’s an extreme version but it helps visualize it better
The first two rounds are physical. The first is usually endurance, the second more on dexterity like most PoV comps.
The third round is strictly mental.
You are facing off against three people:
- A person fairly strong in physical comps
- A person very strong in mental comps
- A person weak in both areas
To win the game, you MUST win the third round. There is no other option there.
Do you:
a) Choose the weakest player who basically guarantees you will be in round 3 but face off against mental comp champion
b) Choose the person who has a chance at winning one of the first two rounds, is very beatable in round 3, but also makes it harder to guarantee a round 3 because the mental comp champ is also fairly strong in physical comps as well
Option B is a gamble that has a higher payoff if everything went exactly as planned while option A is just going to end up being a straight-up MJ vs Chelsie final round where the winner probably wins the entire game.
Considering Chelsie can win either of the first two rounds as well, you gotta go with option A. With option B, you still have high odds of facing Chelsie in the final round but you made the path getting there harder on yourself.
If Chelsie had basically zero chance at winning the first two rounds, option B sounds more appealing, but the fact that Chelsie can definitely win makes it a risk not worth taking.
The right move here is taking Rubina (for MJ)
Don’t expect many feed updates today as feeds will be down a lot plus they’re super boring now anyway, but here they are:
Cam is up packing his suitcase. Chelsie and Makensy are in HOH bed. M is reading her bible and Chelsie is doing her makeup. It has been silent in there for a good 20 min.
