Good morning ya’ll, it’s been a slow couple of days but it’s been a pattern this season. I hope the 3 nominee twist is ending this week. Sure, it makes for more exciting Thursday episodes but it comes at a cost. There’s very little campaigning during the week because of it. Personally, I’m ready for it to end.

If you caught the special Tuesday episode last night, you know there will be a new twist announced on Thursday. I’m assuming (hoping) they’ll also announce the current twist is ending. It’s the AI Instigator twist and the viewers will be voting on it. If you’re looking for more information on the new twist, you’ll have to keep on waiting because that’s all that was said about it.

Airing a recap episode only 4 weeks in was a choice. Jag proved you can win the game as a recruit, become a fan, watch the next season and STILL have almost no understanding of the game. (Lightening should’ve struck when he said Angela’s speech was the most iconic moment ever on BB. Keesha’s bday and Dan’s funeral would like to have a word with Jag!)

Cody’s been enjoying the Angela drama that he would’ve hated having to deal with on his seasons. Taylor likes the Tucker and Rubina shomance and they ALL enjoy watching to see what Tucker and Angela might do next. Same, I’m rooting for Mother Tucker for final 2! (Relax, it’s not like those 2 are gonna make it much further with the way they play the game. Let a girl dream tho)

The best thing that came out the episode was Taylor posting this image afterwards. She laughed at herself and said no one bothered to tell her one of her eyelashes was coming off:

On Monday, Tucker surprised most of the Collecrive alliance by using the veto on himself. Chelsie and Quinn especially, we’re convinced he wouldn’t use it, in order to keep Rubina off the block.

The game play this season is wild when using a veto on yourself becomes a blind side.

Quinn put Rubina on the block as the replacement so his chances of working with her may be over. (assuming she stays) The correct move would’ve been to put Leah on the block. (If only there were people in his final 3 to give him info to have made it happen):

Leah spent more time trash talking Quinn. She tells anyone who will listen that Quinn’s flirting “gives me the ick” but that info hasn’t made it’s way back to Quinn yet.

Leah and Joseph agreed to share info with each other. This sounds like a much better deal for Leah than for Joseph because Leah doesn’t have any info to share.

She told T’kor no one was talking game with her. She said she was concerned alliances may be starting to form and she isn’t in them. (oh girl)

MJ has actually tried to campaign a little bit. It’s not getting her anywhere and she’s a terrible player but I like that she’s trying.

Quinn carved a watermelon. (Ya, that’s what I’m working with):

T’kor and Kimo had another whisper session about talking to Quinn. They want to tell him some of the things Leah has been saying about him so he knows not to trust her. T’kor debated telling Chelsie about her Five Points alliance with Tucker. She eventually told her but Chelsie already knew because Brooklyn had beaten her to it.

Angela laid on the floor trying to listen to a conversation Tucker, Kimo, Rubina and Tucker were having.

She eventually approached them and asked if she could be a part of their group.

She said she was fine being at the bottom. She just wanted to be a part of it. Instead of denying there was a group, Tucker welcomed her into it. (Haha)

Brooklyn began some campaigning for Rubina to be voted out this week. (She’s all in on the Pentagon alliance and doesn’t want to lose Cedric) She and Quinn were both skeptical of the Pentagon at first and felt they were at the bottom of it.

The amount of time she and Chelsie spend together seems to have changed that. I think Brooklyn feels like she’s replaced Cam as far as being close to Chelsie. (I agree with her) It’s made her want to stick with the Pentagon.

Quinn talks like he still wants to turn on it but he wants Tucker out first. That’s what he’s been saying to Kimo. He may have initially wanted to work with Tucker to do it but that can’t happen now.

Moving on to Tuesday, Tucker checked in with Joseph. Joseph has Tucker convinced he’s with him. (He’s only with Tucker in case he wins the next hoh) Joseph doesn’t want to use Tucker to blow up his Collective alliance. (He thinks he created it after all) He’s just going to pretend to be working with Tucker as long as he remains in the house.

Leah and MJ talked and that doesn’t happen much any more. (Leah complains alot about MJ too) Leah was giving MJ some game advice since she’s on the block. (that was painful to watch) They both wondered if there were any alliances in the house. (4 weeks into the game. Nah, I’m sure there arn’t, right?)

Chelsie’s still manipulating the shit out of both MJ and Leah by the way:

Brooklyn told Chelsie her plan was to win the next hoh and get rid of Angela. She made the usual comment about how “Angela can’t win anything.” (This was an interesting take since Brooklyn’s won nothing, even though she’s competed in all or almost all the veto comps and Angela’s had 2 hoh’s)

Tucker did some campaigning for Rubina. It may backfire coming from Tucker.

T’kor and Kimo had another late night strategy talk. It included the usual: They want to work with Chelsie, Cedric and Rubina, they need to tell Quinn about Leah and should they keep Rubina over Cedric? (If that’s the choice)

They’re hoping MJ is the one to go so they don’t have to make that choice. I didn’t catch how T’kor knows this (Quinn, I think) but she’s heard that Chelsie is campaigning for Rubina to go. (I know Chelsie was debating between MJ and Rubina. Brooklyn was the one talking about getting rid of her) Anyway, T’kor wants to find out if it’s true. She talked like they may need to push for Cedric to go if it’s true.

I know T’kor has a tight bond with both Chelsie and Cedric. However, neither of them have told her about the Pentagon. That should tell her something but apparently, it’s not. She’s told them about her side alliance with Tucker but she isn’t getting anything back. I think her plan is to break up the Pentagon (eventually) so they can bring Chelsie into the group they’re creating. This one:

T’kor also talked like she was annoyed Rubina went on the block at all. She and Kimo said they didn’t understand why Quinn put her up when Leah was talking so much trash about him. (If only they’d had some kind of info they could’ve given Quinn to help him make the correct decision)

She and Kimo plan to talk to Quinn today (again) to tell him about Leah and try to save Rubina. (I’m not holding my breath) There was a clip of T’kor and Kimo on last night’s episode that basically sums up their entire games. It was of them making a final 2 and trying to come up with a name for it. The conversation ended with them deciding to sleep on it.

They’re both right about one thing. They’re the two best positioned people in the game at the moment. They arn’t running the game (Chelsie and Brooklyn are) but their position has been great. Neither are targets for anyone and everyone wants to work with them. The problem is, they keep giving away every advantage they have. A side alliance with Tucker doesn’t do them any good when they out it to their other alliance. Having dirt on Leah doesn’t help them if they don’t pass it on to Quinn. (They absolutely could’ve kept her Rubina off the block this week with one conversation but they kept putting off) They also keep vouching for Brooklyn to Tucker. (Big mistake)

I like both of them but i’m beginning to get frustrated with them too. I probably shouldn’t because way better players than T’kor and Kimo have made the same mistake they might be making.

Everyone wants to wait for the perfect timing to break up the big alliance. They sit around and watch their side pieces get taken out and when they finally decide to make a move, they don’t have the numbers anymore to do it. I can give Quinn a bit of a pass on waiting because Tucker really is a problem for him. Tucker is loyal to T’kor and Kimo so I have no idea what they’re waiting on.

T’kor finally talked to Quinn about making a move against the Collective. Unfortunately, her pitch included Quinn working with Tucker. Quinn doesn’t think that will work. (No shit?) It sounds like Kimo and Joseph may be willing but T’kor keeps backtracking and saying it’s too soon.

After the talk with T’kor, Quinn said he wasn’t working with Tucker….unless he wins the next hoh.

Quinn talked like he could trick Joseph into doing what they wanted when it was time. Meanwhile, Joseph was cam talking about how he doesn’t trust Quinn. (Haha) He said he hopes Tucker wins the next hoh too. He talked like he may be ready to turn on the Collective after all if Tucker wins.

Kimo talked to Tucker about working with Quinn. He wasn’t very receptive but said he would wait to see how the votes came out this week.

Tucker talked to Leah about making an alliance or at least working together. They talked about having a meeting by the fish tank this morning. MJ asked about it and Leah basically told her she’d be gone anyway. (Haha)

Quinn asked if he should keep growing out the mustache.(Quinn, you’re not Cory, you’re not Turner, just be Quinn!!)

This is Tucker and Rubina shortly after saying they should separate a bit more:

Every season tends to have its own vibe. We’ve already seen this won’t be a season of great strategy. They volunteer for the block and think it helps build a resume this year. This season is more about great characters and personalities. At least everyone on the cast is giving me something, whether it be good or bad.

I’m just hoping the bad game play picks up, if and when this twist ends. I don’t think this cast is going to start playing better. I’m just hoping they start playing faster. (Except for T’kor and Kimo. They’ll still be planning their weeek 4 move a month from now)

There’s only 2 people in the house whose games you could even rate above average, at least for now. Chelsie and Brooklyn have been doing well. (I don’t know if it will continue because people are catching onto how well positioned they are) I would’ve included Cedric, Joseph, T’kor and Kimo but I can’t.

At this point, I think the chance is slim but there’s still a chance, Cedric goes home on Thursday. If he does, he did it to himself by volunteering to go on the block. That definitely ranks him as a below average player. I like how sneaky Joseph is but he tells info as fast as he gets it. I’ve already gone over how T’kor and Kimo seem frozen, in spite of their good position in the house.

I’d like Cedric to stay because I like him but him leaving would get the game going a bit faster. It would finally put a crack in the Collective and the Pentagon. MJ leaving won’t do much because no one is trying to utilize her anyway. Rubina is a number to go against the other alliance but only as a vote. I don’t see her doing anything very strategic. Like I said, I don’t have a preference this week.

Matt, Kenney and Lisa did a live discussing the game. Matt said he wished the AI comp he went out on had been more equitable. He said all 3 of them guessed at an answer. I’m wondering if he knows what the word “equitable” means because it didn’t make any sense.

I’ll sum up the potential for a flip this week. (By flip, I mean Cedric leaving) Kimo is ready for it because he’s closer to Tucker than Cedric. T’kor is closer to Cedric than Tucker. However, if she finds out Chelsie may want Rubina out, she may sacrifice Cedric. (Doubt it tho) Joseph may be fine doing it now or later. Quinn definitely wants Tucker gone before turning on the Pentagon. Chelsie would like to keep Rubina but not at the cost of losing Cedric. Brooklyn just wants Rubina out to weaken Tucker. (I don’t think it will)

I’ll be on the lookout for another Quinn, T’kor and Kimo conversation today but also won’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen. Have a great Wednesday!
